Answers to your most frequently asked questions about Victory Weekend.

  • Victory Weekend is an annual weekend designed, specifically, for 6th-12th grade students hosted by The Grove located in Orange Grove, TX. At Victory Weekend students will participate in several in-depth Bible studies, breakouts and small group discussions learning what it means to be a genuine follower of Christ. Our goal is to empower students to live a life of victory, one that honors Christ, and brings glory to his name.

  • Victory Weekend is designed for students in 6th-12th grade. Adults attending the weekend must pass a background check and be registered as a volunteer. If you are an adult attending with a different church, be sure to check with them on their registration and background check process.

  • You can register for Victory Weekend by clicking here.

  • Students will be separated by grade and gender and housed in cabins located on camp grounds. Each group will have a group leader who will stay with the students the entire weekend. Each group leader will undergo a background check and child-protection training certification. Students are not required to stay overnight in order to participate.

  • Small Groups will be split up according to each participating church. Students will be split up by grade level and gender and be led throughout the weekend by a Group Leader. Each participating church is responsible for providing their own small group leaders. The purpose of small groups are for discipleship and fellowship. Each group will dive deeper into the messages from the Main Sessions and the overall theme of Victory Weekend.

  • Each student should bring all the necessary items for 2 overnight stays at camp (sleeping bag, bedding, hygiene products, etc.) Students should bring enough clothes for the weekend. Loose fitting clothes and shoes for an afternoon of recreation will be appropriate as well as clothes for evening worship and sleeping. All teens are expected to behave in the appropriate manner. Anyone whose behavior is deemed inappropriate and/or disrespectful will be asked to leave and go home.
